Challenge
Origins. Runner-Up in Writers Challenge.
My first piece? I couldn't remember it off hand, so I dug up my old journals to try and figure it out. What I found was a small poem from my early teen years. I hadn't tried poetry or much of any writing by that time, so I made this one as a challenge to myself to try anyway. I've never received extensive education on proper poetry, and I knew even less at the time of writing it, so that's exactly what I wrote about: what I didn't know.

LIFE AT ITS BEST
You know its a lot of intriguing how you can awaken and simply understand that, ohhh!! its another day. though in similar peculiarities somebody who might be listening awakens and goes like. "woow!!! another day to simply deteriorate." this individuals are from a similar universe and a similar planet called earth, yet they have different persepective on how they really do relate in this the world.

Spilling The Beans About The Past
The very first piece of writing I did on Vocal Media was a story about the legendary Robert Johnson, the father of the blues and good old Rock and Roll. The reason I wrote this article was to set the record straight about who invented Rock and Roll due to the fact that Johnson's story resonated with me on personal and professional levels.

BUILDING CHARACTER
“What if I am cursed?” I thought as life seemed to pummel me. I was leaving my apartment complex when I discovered someone had slashed one of my tires. This was after getting in an accident weeks prior. I would be calling into work again as I had just recovered from being sick. Rent was nearly due. I barely had anything to eat. Depression weighed me down.

Ink Trails: My Journey from First Grade to Front Page
I remember the very first piece I remember writing. It was a poem about a lost dog. I was in the first grade, and I had just lost my own dog, a little terrier named Sparky. I was so sad, and I wanted to write something to express my feelings.

Floated Away
I couldn’t tell you the first thing I wrote, because I was too young to remember, but one of the first projects I remember writing, was my own story called “Floated Away”. I think I was about seven or eight when I wrote this, back in the late 90’s or early 2000’s. I don’t know why I wrote it, but I do remember putting it all together.

The Chronicles of a Dreamer's Heart
As I gaze back into the recesses of memory, I find myself transported to a time when words were like undiscovered constellations, waiting for me to weave them into stories that danced with the fervor of a child's imagination. The first piece I ever wrote, an innocent composition etched onto the pages of an old spiral-bound notebook, was titled "The Chronicles of a Dreamer's Heart." It was an amateur attempt at a short story, a tale woven from the threads of my youthful aspirations and untamed creativity.

I Love to Write Day – November 15th
I love to write day is today. So, it is no secret that I enjoy writing based on all the articles I have written on a regular basis. Though I enjoy creating stories through my blog and for other clients; the truth is I’m never going to write the greatest American novel.

Play That Funky Music
The door to the Situation Room in the White House opened and two Secret Servant agents escorted the President to his seat at the conference table. Already seated were the Cabinet Secretaries and their underlings. All eyes were on the leader of the free world as he settled into his chair and gathered his notes.
