NBA Playoff Push 2026: Twenty Hungry Teams
Hard to believe that there are only two weeks remaining in the NBA season. Just fourteen short days to go. And even crazier, with that much time left, all 20 postseason spots have been filled. Yes, you read that right. The last eliminated team was the Milwaukee Bucks, and their ousting came on Saturday, March 28 when they were horrendously blasted by the San Antonio Spurs. Milwaukee's loss allowed the Charlotte Hornets, the Orlando Magic, and the Miami Heat to advance to this year's postseason play.

Stanley Cup Playoff Push 2026: Step by Step, Inch by Inch
We're really down to the wire here, hockey fans! We are Joe Sakic days away from the end of the regular season! Nineteen days! It seems like yesterday that the Olympic Break happened. It seemed like yesterday that the month of March began and I wrote the first piece of the home stretch. That was four weeks ago! We are at the end of March, and April is coming. We are at the point where the numbers get thinned out. We already have a pair of eliminations.

Zebras Run Amok
The Colorado Avalanche have been on a roll in the last week; having won four in a row and running away in the Central Division. Our latest win was in Winnipeg against the Jets, and on a Saturday that saw all but two teams playing, the Avs faced off against the same Jets, this time in the confines of Ball Arena. Prior to our game, a funny thing happened: the Dallas Stars actually won a game. Dallas defeated a Pittsburgh Penguins team that played without Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, and they still had to come from behind. That tells me that they still have problems.

Best Texas Rangers Uniforms
The 2026 Major League Baseball season has finally begun. 2026 will mark the Rangers 66th year as a franchise and the 55th season in Arlington. The history of the Rangers dates back to 1961 when they were known as the Washington Senators for a decade before moving to Arlington in the Spring of 1972. For nearly 60 years, the Rangers have played at Arlington Stadium and The Ballpark in Arlington before moving into their current home, Globe Life Field in 2020. In this story, I'll be going over some of my favorite Rangers uniforms that captured my attention. I wrote a story last year about my favorite Rangers jerseys that I highlighted. You can read the full story in the link down below. The following entries are not in any particular order.

Zooming Away
The Colorado Avalanche have been picking up wins left and right lately, and this is a right time to do it. When it comes to the home stretch, especially this late in it, the focus is often on the teams in the middle of the pack who really need the wins and points, and it should be. But the teams on top do need the wins as well. Even if you're in a very cushy spot, you want to keep that momentum up. You want to keep the foot on the gas. You do not want to let up. I've seen teams eliminated early in the playoffs because they got too relaxed at the end and forgot how to turn it back up to their normal level.

Under the Baseball Microscope: The New York Yankees and Their Postseason Woes
There's no denying that the New York Yankees are one of the most iconic teams in Major League Baseball. They had a plethora of iconic moments and players in their century-plus long history. I've been writing baseball-related topics on Vocal since 2023, and I've shared my mostly brutally honest opinions about anything that had to do with the league. From players to managers, no one was off limits. Whether people agreed with my takes or not, I refused to sugarcoat anything or apologize for telling the truth. Uncomfortable and unpopular truths are a way for people and baseball fans to face reality. In this story, I'll be going over the New York Yankees postseason failures, why they're no longer relevant in the American League East in my opinion, thoughts about Aaron Boone, and ripping a new one on another man named Aaron. If you're easily offended by my harsh takes and being brutally honest, this is your opportunity to exit stage left.

What's Good for the Goose
The Colorado Avalanche's first meeting with the Pittsburgh Penguins was one to forget. A 7-2 drubbing on March 16, definitely not one of our finest moments. Nine days after that meeting, the Avs and Penguins meet again, this time in the Steel City, and this time, Sidney Crosby was in action. So they have someone back. Well, so do we. Ross Colton returned to action for the Avs, and Logan O'Connor suited up for the very first time this season.

NBA Playoff Push 2026: Coming into Focus
The 2025-26 NBA season is really coming down to the wire! 21 days, three full weeks remain in the regular season. A vast majority of teams have played at least 70 games this year, so yeah, time is really running out in this season, especially for teams trying to get in. And as it often does in every sport that has this little time remaining, the playoff picture becomes more clear. In the case of the NBA, it's really in focus.
