It's been said that people that hate cats will come back as mice in their next life.
The Story of My Marcel
Marcel was truly a unique cat with a unique story: The one of a traveling cat. Before I adopted him, I had Lucy, whom I lost after nine months of feline AIDS. I had been very saddened by losing her without not really getting to know her enough. So in January 2001, I went to the same shelter I had adopted her, and that’s when I met Marcel.

The Day I Gave My Cat a Hand
Of all the feline fleaflickers that I had, my huge Bombay, Kabuki, was undoubtedly the most independent. Trying to train him was nearly impossible. But God bless him; if the rest of my cats were the Real McCoys, he was "Grandpappy Amos." Sadly, he's no longer with me—but one fateful day could've made his demise a lot earlier in his illustrious life.

Mimo
Have you ever had trouble trying to find your cat? If so, you're not alone. I have trouble finding my cat all the time. Mimo is great at hiding. I got Mimo when she was about a month old and I was starting my freshman year in high school. She was so tiny, I could hold her with my hands cupped together. I adopted her from a shelter. She was a gift for my birthday because my first cat had died several years before and I was ready to have a cat.

Kittening Gone Awry
If you love animals, and more specifically cats, then the prospect of kittens is an exciting thing. Well that was how it was with my little orange and white fur ball, Mary. She was always a playful little monster and got into trouble more often than once. We adopted her and her sister while they were kittens. Mary and Martha became their names. Bloodlines? If I had to guess I would say they are obviously mixed, but I believe Turkish Van is prominent in their breeding.

9 Things My Cat Has Taught Me
Save a six year stint following the death of our first family dog, and a six month gap after losing our second one, I had never lived without a pet. I never identified as a cat or dog person—always just an animal person. That being said, if I HAD to choose, I would always pick dogs. I never owned a cat of my own, yet I would go out of my way to pet neighborhood strays, track down barn cats, and crawl under beds at my aunt’s to find her elusive cats. However, when the time came to move out of my parent’s house, I was forced the face the fact that I didn’t have the time nor space for a dog of my own, so I kept it in the back of my mind that I was going to get a cat once I was settled in.

What Cats Can Teach Us About Attitude
Cats can teach us how to master an attitude to survive. I was recently inspired to write this because of one little kitten that impressed me. We live on a farm and somehow this little grey kitten wandered into my yard. I have my other outdoor cats, and cats can be hostile to strangers. However, this little kitten was not the least phased and went over to everyone to be friends. Even if they didn't "like" the idea at all.

What Personality Type Is Your Cat?
Humans have been cast into different personality types for ages and these are very specific for each individual. Cats, according to online research, are cast differently using breed, typical characteristics, and behavior—rather than personality. Cats, however, do have different personality types.
