In Dreams
In the dreams of many, one is carried away to a land of enchantment and wonder. Then again, there are many a night where one dreams of misfortune and woe. It is those most trouble some nights when we suddenly wake up and realize that the world has, indeed, changed. For the fortunate few who have weathered the storms of life, the dreams they have might just include fantasies of one form or another. In playing out a role in these types of dreams, one is whisked away to places that may have had an actual influence in the life they have led.

Giving Up
Don't we all miss the days where we were carefree children? We didn't have to stress about paying our bills, finding a job, working to build our future and balancing our personal life. All we wanted to do was to have fun and play with other children, but little did we know how challenging adulthood was going to be.

Everything in life, I feel, is truly meant to happen. And everything always comes full circle. The things we expected to receive from our dreams is never ever what we get in reality and that there is when You're really tested to see where your heart and mind really stand. The older we get, the more we experience, whether it be good or bad, it is still going to happen and that there is when Your character will be tested as well; and see how strong you really are from those experiences.

The One and Only
Lately things have been in a grey area... Dealing with a broken family, past mistakes, and loss can severely take a toll on people who barely seem to catch a break. When you have so many issues present all at once, you naturally tend to look for happiness in places to fill the void or help distract you, and that's what I did. I believe fate led me to him, but it surely wasn't fate to end up there. I found my short-lived happiness in another person, and that's absolutely wrong to do! His smile alone was enough to take away a week's worth of pain that I constantly felt. How can that be possible? How can one person numb a giant list of your problems and pain? I found him when I was in a dark place, and I was still there when he left me. Always remember true love moves your spirit out of that dark place; you guys grow, learn, and care for each other together. TRUE LOVE NOURISHES YOU ALWAYS!

Your Platform
Platform. We all have a platform, especially in the culture of today, where social media seems to run our lives and our every thought can be shared with thousands in a moment. I believe we are severely accountable for the platform we hold. Even if you think nobody cares about what you have to say, or that your platform is 20 followers so it “doesn’t matter,” I believe you’re wrong. Those twenty people who listen to what you have to say matter. I believe they matter.

Dear 2008 Me
Dear 2008 me, Hey, I know this might sound a little bit crazy, but remember that one time you swore to yourself that if this ever happened you'd believe it? I'm you in the future. The year is 2018, the Jonas Brothers aren't together anymore, and Donald Trump is the President of The United States of America. I'm sorry, I know this sound like the beginning of a bad joke, but I'm totally serious.

Look at the Big Picture
In life, we all go on a journey that only we may see the vision, yet it has not been made into a reality. Our minds are a beautiful gift of adventure and knowledge. It is daily that we may look where we are and feel like a failure or question if it's worth it. What is planned and followed through takes time and beating yourself down will only slow down the progress. Speak words of wisdom into each day, even if you do not feel like it. That is the start of your day in how you set the tone for the remainder of it. Ask yourself honest questions if you are giving 100 percent. Although, life is forever changing with many obstacles thrown our way to test not our ability, but the faith that you have and if you really want to fight for your goals. When you look at the big picture you see an image, the future, and how all your hard work paid off.

101 on Living a Self Care Lifestyle
Life is chaos. This is not me trying to be deep or poetic; this is me being simply real with you. The list of things we have to worry about in life could fill an entire planet (for each of us!). All the choices we have to make, the chores and errands we have to accomplish, and all the emotions that bump around in our mind makes each and every individual a hero in my eyes! Being a hero requires us to do so much for others that we sometimes forget the most important person in our lives: ourselves.
