The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
Falling for a Straight Guy (Pt. 2)
After Malcolm, I felt less suffocated. The energy I put into liking him turned to hatred. Every time I saw him, I would get pissed off. I either left the room or insulted him. I called him a caramel cunt from time to time. Believe it or not, it was satisfying. It was good to get back to reality and get on with my life. It was nice to be free, even for only a few months.

LGBTQ Based Research Paper
I am conducting a research report on the LGBTQ community, in which I identify. I am conducting research about how different factors affect how the world perceives us. The factors that I have identified to be the most influential in the treatment of LGBTQ members: college, sports, and religion, generation, race, and gender roles. Additionally, if anyone reading this felt as if there were other factors that affected our perception, please feel free to contact me.

Falling for a Straight Guy (Pt. 1)
Love is not easy. Many stories are about a guy who has a crush on a girl. Typically, the guy is afraid to talk the girl, which makes it harder for him to tell her how he feels. There are many ways this can turn out. He tells her how he feels and she rejects him, he tells her how he feels and she likes him back, or he may not tell her at all. This is the typical love story. It's cute, a common story. It's the common "Romeo and Juliet" without death (most of the time). What many don't expect in a story like is a guy who infatuates over another guy.

Soon
Eli turned on the porch light and sat at the base of the stairs, watching the door. Though it was nighttime, he had very few lights on in the house: one lamp in the living room, whose light spilled out into the entry hall and made large polygonal shadows, and one in Eli’s bedroom that gave the upstairs hallway a faint warm glow. The rest of the house was dark and vacant. He was sure it was all the light he needed and wouldn’t dare use any more than that, afraid that the neighbors would notice them at such a late hour. While they weren’t generally inclined to prying, with Eli’s parents out of town, they were surely more observant than usual.

Grindr and the Trolls Who Dwell Within
Grindr was a dating app created on March 25, 2009. Yes, you read that right. It was a "dating app." Crazy to see how almost 10 years later it's a pool of headless bodies, unwarranted penis pictures, scams, and Homophobic people.

LGBTQIA People Aren't Oversensitive, They're Just Bored of Being Used as a Punchline
It's often the case that people will look back on old movies and TV shows and react with shock at the humour often used. I will admit, I'm probably one of the first to laugh at an old school gay joke, even as a man who enjoys other men's bottoms, but there's a growing trend recently which sees legitimate LGBTQIA criticism of such humour as being 'oversensitive.' I, personally, have always had a bit of a dark, no-limits sense of humour. If put in the right way and the right context, there's almost nothing that won't make me laugh as long as it's legitimately funny, but even I will find my own eyes rolling back into their sockets at some groan-inducing humour from the past.
