1942 1 “Jack, Jack get up!” A sailor with the last name of Daniels, embroidered in blue silk on his faded white sailor uniform, nudges another sailor who was half laying on and off his cramped bunk. Every dark hair on his head went a different direction as it had grown significantly long with being out at sea for a few years now, and sleeping off a night filled with drinking at a local bar only put icing on the cake. “Jack!” Daniels nudges him again. This time with more force. Jack lets out a groan sounding like a whale in mating season.“We were supposed to report for duty ten minutes ago!” Jack finally opens his eyes that read hate, irritability, and displeasure.

Why Elvira: Mistress of the dark movie is an honorable horror film
It’s not just a Halloween movie, I had heard of Elvira: mistress of the dark. I would scroll past it on Hulu, there was a slight interest but it when it comes to horror movies for me, I don't normally do the ones that have comedy in it. Last year in October, I was looking for a horror movie after re-watching all of my fall fright festive films. I gambled on a new film to watch, this time when I found Elvira on the list of horror films, I didn't scroll past it. I clicked it, I watched it, and I accidently loved it. It parodied other films, it was written with self-awareness of the clichés in horror films. It written to be funny on purpose with purpose. But I found out that it held more significance then just being apart of the horror culture.

Dance Your Fears Away
I learned about Halloween during my first trip to the USA in 1999 around October November. I was amused to see the shops suddenly filling up with pumpkin-type objects and a lot of other scary spooky items. While most were very obviously made to scare; like face masks, dresses, and decoration items but the real terrifying experience was when I stepped onto screaming doormat..........eeeeeiiiiiiii :)) Screaming doormat is so creepy. And all at the shop laughed including me.

11 Fiendish Fright-Night Part 2 Facts
The sequel to the popular smash hit movie Fright-Night (1985) had the strange and difficult task of recapturing the magic of its predecessor. Released only 3 years after the original, it struggled to find a home and these are just some of the strange things that dog the movie's legacy. Many fans feel the film is a somewhat ok sequel to the original but personally, I think the movie is a total hoot and deserves more recognition from its horror fandom.
