(Number) 10 Things Hamilton Got Wrong
It is worth note to specify that Lin Manuel Miranda worked very long and hard on his incredible musical. He studied the life of not only the treasury secretary but everyone from around him as well. There were of course some royalties taken by Miranda as he turned the life of Alexander Hamilton into a 3 hour dramatic retelling. I am of course not taking away anything from this once in a century piece of art. But I like history, so I'm gonna point out some things he got wrong. And I like musicals so I'm gonna do it following the tune of the ten duel commandments.

History Lovers: It's okay that you LOVE and hate Bridgerton
I grinned, guffawed and cringed over 10 times each in the first episode of Bridgerton. I was at war with myself. The first side of myself, who I usually show to the world, is the teacher. I am an English and Social Studies teacher with an English degree. I am a writer. And, since the age of 12, my favourite books were written in the 1800's. This side of myself did not like Bridgerton. The contemporary music (I'm sorry Billie, but Beethoven was the "it" artist in this time) and disregard for many of the social norms (husbands were not in the room when wives gave birth until the 1980's...) to make the show palatable for more people made me cringe. But, I kept watching...

The Thrill, Horror, & Suspense
Truthfully up until last year (and I'm 27) I had never once read a Stephen King book, or watched any of the movies. I know that sounds unreal, his works are iconic and he definitely is an established author to the point of making a name for himself. But growing up in a fairly religious household, my parents did not find it appropriate to have me reading what they considered to be controversial topics and conversations. That being said, this was defintiely the perfect opportunity to discover a whole new relm of reading as an adult and it absolutely thrilled me.
