Injured on labour hire in QLD: who’s actually responsible?
Being hurt at work is hard enough. Being hurt at work on labour hire is its own special kind of confusing. Because the first question everyone asks you—your family, the supervisor, the insurer, sometimes even the doctor—is the one you can’t cleanly answer:

Search warrants in QLD: what police can (and can’t) do at your place. Content Warning.
Getting police at the door is a proper adrenaline moment. Doesn’t matter if you’ve done nothing wrong. The heart still goes. The brain still blanks. And suddenly every sentence sounds either too defensive… or too chatty… or weirdly angry.

Injured While Volunteering in NSW?
Getting hurt while volunteering is a weird kind of shock. Because it’s not like a normal job where everyone expects insurance paperwork and HR emails. Interesting Things About the Month of February
February: A Unique Month February follows January, which has 31 days, and comes before March, which also has 31 days. Therefore, the shortest month of the year is sandwiched between two long months. February is the only month on both the Julian and Gregorian calendars with only 28 days. During a leap year, the month has 29 days. Because a common year has only 28 days, it has no full moon because full moons occur every 29 and a half days.

Tempus Fugit
Introduction An old piece but still the same for me. Many people ask me how I find the time to do the things that I do, while I feel that I just do not do enough, and am not supportive enough. I have just returned from a day in Scotland, including about eight hours on a train, which included getting an unexpected electric shock, leaving me with a fried middle finger. I wasn't too sure if I would be able to type, but some Germolene has done it well and it now just feels a bit itchy and very red.
