The Picky Eater Paradox:
People act like being a picky eater is a moral flaw. I hear it often, usually from people who can eat anything without hesitation. My husband is one of them. He calls me picky with a grin, like it’s harmless, but underneath is the assumption that flexibility equals virtue.

The Top 10 Places to Eat American Fare - And What That Fare Really Is.
America has never been especially good at pretending. Our food didn’t come from royal courts or marble kitchens. It came from hunger, hard labor, long hours, and the simple need to make something filling out of what was available. American fare wasn’t designed to impress anyone. It was designed to work.

My Review of the 2026 Starbucks Winter Menu
In early 2026, Starbucks unveiled new additions to their menu: exclusive matcha blends, a selection of pastries and limited-edition Dubai chocolate drinks. With blends that emphasized matcha, pistachio, chocolate and yuzu citrus, it was pretty clear to me that Starbucks was taking inspiration from trending flavors. In any case, as a matcha lover, I had to try the new offerings--and the pastries seemed like the perfect accompaniment.

Entrepreneurial Ramadan Productivity Tips Ramadan is a sacred month of reflection, discipline, and spiritual growth. Georgian Cooking Class
I've turned 56 today and my niece, who is visiting me in Tbilisi, gave me a most wonderful birthday present - a Georgian cuisine cooking class taught by a wonderful chef Karolina. Before retiring, she used to be a tour guide, so we had a pleasure of not only learning how to cook traditional Georgian dishes but also of listening to her stories about Georgia and its culture.

Emotional Struggles Behind Perfect Couples Shared Across Social Media Platforms
Social media has changed the perception of people regarding love and relationships. Millions of couples are posting smiling photographs, sensual text posts and well-edited events that seem perfect every day. Such images give an illusion that other people are happy and that they can always be happy without working hard. Although these posts might look harmless, most of them conceal emotional facts that cannot be seen. It is a complicated tale behind each ideal image with hardships, misunderstandings, and self-investigations that are almost never brought to the screen.

The Quiet Question: Was My Name on the Tea App?
The message comes late at night: a friend’s text, casual but pointed. “You ever hear of that Tea app?” Or maybe it’s a screenshot passed around in a group chat—blurry, cropped, but the name and details hit too close. Your stomach twists. You’re left wondering: Is there something out there about me? What’s being said? Is it even accurate?

When Tipping Turns From Gratitude Into Guilt
Tipping was originally intended as a simple gesture of appreciation, a voluntary way for customers to say "thank you" for good service. Over time, however, that gesture has evolved into something far more complicated, and for many diners, far more uncomfortable. What was once gratitude has increasingly turned into guilt, obligation, and even judgment. Few phrases capture this shift better than the often-repeated refrain: "If you can't leave a good tip, then stay home." While it may be said casually, the sentiment behind it is neither fair nor constructive.
