Los Valencia
There is a special flower that blooms in massive quantities every year in Colombia, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and some lonely parts of our own southern Mexico. A "perfect" flower by biological terms, it's small, yellow, smells like summer, and heralds a very busy harvest season to come. It heralds deft hands drying and grinding the leaves of the bush it grows on, before their date with a kerosene bath. A trip on a boat or on a plane, wrapped in plastic, and maybe even snug in a very desperate man's lower intestines. Finally, an exchange of American dollars for a taste of invincibility.

Lesandro 'Junior' Guzman-Feliz
Does anyone really have the right to decide whether someone lives or dies? In any case, absolutely not. Lesandro 'Junior' Guzman-Feliz was only 15-years-old when he was stabbed and slashed by five men in the Belmont section of the Bronx after being dragged out of a bodega. The men used knives and a machete to viciously stab and slash Junior. While bleeding to death and trying to save himself by running to a hospital, he was filmed rather than helped by onlookers.

Is There Good in the Presence of Evil?
Human nature is a topic that has been argued for centuries. Some say that human nature started out good from the beginning, while others say it was always evil from start to finish. One of the most common arguments when it comes to human nature is the debate of whether good is there in the presence of evil nature or not. 'Cults'
Cults is a weekly podcast that takes an in-depth look at the inner workings of a cult. The podcast is one hour long and typically in two-part episodes. The hosts are Greg Polcyn and Vanessa Richardson of the Parcast Network, which is a part of Cutler Media. The two hosts discuss the history of the cult's origins with a focus on the psychology of the cult leader. A new episode of the series is released to the internet feed every Tuesday. The series debuted on September 27, 2017, with an episode on the Manson Family. Since the release of the first episode, Parcast Network has produced 38 shows and still counting. Stories have ranged from cults started in the United States to cults originating in other countries. The episodes include famous cults to relatively obscure ones. The series has discussed famous cults such as the Branch Davidians and the members of The People's Temple. However, the show's host makes a point to cover lesser-known cults or cults that have evolved into something else, some of which are the Oneida Community, The Church of Euthanasia, and The Brethren.

Case Brief: ‘A Life for a Life?’
For money or for virtue? This is a question that many lawyers and politicians must make. For people in jobs like these, they are put in a position in which they are forced to decide either to do what they believe is right, or do what will guarantee them another paycheck. The case brief "A Life for a Life?" is about a House Member named Manny who needs to make a decision to vote for or against a bill that will get the death-penalty statute off the books in Florida (A Life for a Life). With second term elections coming up, and outside opinions clashing, Manny needs to make a firm decision. According to Virtue Ethics and Aristotle’s Philosophy, it would be unethical and, therefore, wrong for Manny to approve the bill that will get the death-penalty statute off the books in Florida because it would be going against key virtues in Manny’s life.
