Longing for what others had When I was in the 4th grade a girl in my class received a box of Valentine's candy from a 5th-grade boy. She was about to turn 12 was fully developed and more mature than the rest of us 9 and 10-year-olds so it seemed appropriate that she was the one. She had breasts, wore a bra and had hair underneath her arms and I saw her as the image of what would befall the rest of us in a few years.

The early days of Blossom Rock Edith Marie Blossom MacDonald was the older sister of famous singer and screen actress Jeanette Mcdonald and was known by her stage name Blossom Rock. She was widely recognized for her portrayal of Grandmama Adams on the dark comedy The Addams Family television series from 1964-1966. Rock was an American actress on stage, vaudeville, television, and film and during her career, she was also billed as Blossom MacDonald or Marie Blake.

Dear Kiesha Preston, you have inspired me in recent years more than anyone else. You once were a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling your 3 children and trying to finish your degree. Your husband walked out of your life and things changed drastically. No longer married to your childhood sweetheart and trying to find employment so you could care for your 3 children, was a real challenge but you turned every lemon into lemonade and have done some amazing things that benefit the least among us.

The company was founded in 1977 as a subsidiary of Filmways when the duo were ABC network executives supervising the Saturday morning programming.
