Ode to Good Friday!
A faith that blossoms every day after tomorrow!
The world is loud, but hearts stay small,
Yet even small hearts carry all.
A single breath, a single choice,
Can soften stone and lift a voice.
....................
The young should know that hope is real,
Not in the noise but what they feel.
The old should know their steps still guide,
Their shadows long, but light inside.
...............
And if today feels dark or wide,
Remember loss is just a shortly ride!
For every night that bends the knee,
A dawn begins its quiet plea.
.....................
To be forgiven and to be loved,
To hold the turning wheel of time and thought,
To join the angels’ choir and sing to God,
And know that never was a soul forgotten neither lost.
................
And whilst today is one Good Friday,
We share the same hope of the cross and holly!
Commemorating quietly the pain and sorrow,
With faith that blossoms every day after tomorrow.
