It's All True

If you live in America 

and you feel really bad 

about the problems in this country today

then no matter what political viewpoint you have

you won't like what I'm about to say

It's our fault for letting things get to this point

and I'm about to tell you why

So pay close attention to what I have to say

Cause it's all true and it's not a lie

Let's start with Republicans

and all that they did

when they bypassed the rules and the laws

The sins of their candidate weren't even hid

yet they chose to ignore all his flaws

So it's their fault for the man who is out of control

They can suck their teeth and let out a sigh

But that doesn't change the reality of things

Cause it's all true and it's not a lie

Now for the Democrats

who think they're all right

With lofty and liberal views

Yet in their own ranks

they fuss and they fight

And when the race starts they just lose

It's their fault for being so passive and weak

And making constitutes cry

And after they lose they merely point blame

It's all true and it's not a lie

But before you agree 

Or disagree with me

Let's take just one more quick look

There's someone else who's responsible for

The country being led by a crook

It's our fault for failing to speak up and speak out

Good people sitting idly by

I know you don't want to hear it right now

But it's true and it's not a lie

We should have found a way

At the very very start

Way back in 2017

To stop one man from changing all the rules

The minute he came on the scene

Now thanks to him we're going to war

And people are going to die

Don't hate me for keeping an accurate score

It's all true and not once did I lie
