Doctors come with many specialties,
but I divide them in two types,
the good doctors and bad doctors.
Today I was teaching this concept,
to my 3.5-year-old son.
A good doctor is the one
who saw that I was having trouble
in delivering the baby,
that I could have died,
and decided to do emergency cesarean surgery,
to save both me and the baby.
That is a good doctor,
almost like God’s representative.
A bad doctor, to me,
is one who recommended
strong medicines, and steroids,
for my son’s eczema.
She could have been a good doctor
if she had asked simple questions:
“Could the carpet in your house be the culprit,
irritating the skin?
Why not try socks as a barrier?”
But instead, she put us in a loop,
of medicines, and follow-up visits.
I had to figure out the solution,
on my own, to curb inflammation,
for I don’t trust this kind of solution,
by bad doctors.

just beautifully written
Totally agree with you. They never try to find the root cause and a solution for that. They just wanna give temporary relief
Sometimes it takes going to a few doctors to find the right doctor
