Heracles stood on the bank of the Styx, as the ferry appeared from within the murky mist.

“What? You? Ye canna come across. You ain’t dead yet.”

“Ferry me, boney, or it’s a leathering for you!”

“No need for violence. Just add one more word to this story.”

Try “Heracles Stood on the bank of Styx” or “Heracles stood on bank of the Styx” … as the ferryman appeared from within murky mist … You can do away with “the” in several places. Regardless, great little story. 🤗

Haha, I love the humor here. I can’t wait to see what word will tip the balance between Heracles and the ferry!

Oooo, this certainly was creative! I like the way you think hehehehe

  • Love it!! IMO, in every challenge, official or not, authors should be the ones who decide if strikethroughs should be considered in the word count or not. They should represent a safe space. Am I right? ⚡️😉⚡️
